Dancing With the Stars' Karina Smirnoff will bear all in May issue of Playboy. A Twitter post this afternoon from Hugh Hefner of all people confirmed this.
"May issue of Playboy is unforgettable with Dancing With The Stars Karina Smirnoff on the cover & nude inside," wrote the octogenarian founder.
Not exactly something we would have predicted, but Karina certainly has the looks. Wonder if Hugh Hefner and Crystal Harris vote for her on DWTS ...

Karina, who was once engaged to Maksim Chmerkovskiy, is currently engaged to MLB pitcher Brad Penny - and paired with Ralph Macchio on DWTS.

Pia Toscano Eliminates from Imerican idol 2011

No one saw this coming. American Idol sent home Pia Toscano on Thursday night, widely viewed as one of the best singers left in this year's competition, and it sent the judges fuming.

"I have no idea what just happened here," said judge Jennifer Lopez. "I'm shocked, I'm angry, I don't even know what to say."
Fellow judge Randy Jackson agreed with Lopez, and added, "I'm never really mad on this show, but this makes me mad."
Toscano, 22, is from Queens, New York City, and the fact she was sent home drew boos from the audience, Reuters reported. There are eight competitors remaining.
The elimination also led to widespread social media chatter, with many saying they were shocked, and some saying they won't watch Idol anymore altogether. Even Snooki weighed in with a tweet, "Pia should have won the whole thing! I'm not watchin Idol anuymore. I'm with JLO on this one..."

Sony ericsson Launches Xperia Arc and Xperia Play in india

Sony Ericsson has expanded its smartphone portfolio in the country with the addition of Xperia Arc and Xperia Play. 

 

Xperia Play is Sony's first PlayStation-certified smartphone. Xperia Play runs on 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8655 CPU with Adreno 205 GPU. It is powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread and Timescape UI. The smartphone has a 4-inch capacitive display with 854x480 pixel resolution.

There's 1GB ROM and 400MB internal memory. The smartphone has a 5 megapixel camera, 11 buttons slideout keyboard with gaming keys, A-GPS support, Stereo FM with RDS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1. The smartphone claims a talktime of 7 hours.

Priced at Rs 35,000, the smartphone is available in black and white colours.

Sony Ericsson Xperia arc flaunts slim looks with being just 8.7mm thin at its slimmest point and weighing 117 gm. The new smartphone is powered by Android Gingerbread (2.3) and comes with a suite of HD games. It has a 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8255 CPU with Adreno 205 GPU.

The 4.2 inch reality display has capacitive touch support and 854x480 pixel resolution. There is 512MB RAM and 320MB internal memory. Xperia arc has 8.1 megapixel camera with Sony Exmor R image sensor. Other features include, A-GPS support, HDMI port, stereo FM with RDS and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1.

Priced at Rs 32,000, the smartphone is available in midnight blue and silver colours.
