In-flight video captures Northern Lights

Photographer Nate Bolt thought he’d work on an art project while on an overnight flight from San Francisco to Paris. He set up his equipment and ended up taking over 2,400 photos during the 11-hour trip. Surprisingly, he captured images of aurora borealis, the Northern Lights.
He wasn’t able to see the Northern Lights with the naked eye, but they were captured on his film. He then edited the photos into a 2-minute video of his flight that you can see below.
If only we really could fly to Europe that fast!
